A wedding is said to be the happiest day of a couple’s life, and to make the day extra special, experienced celebrant Michelle Ware comes highly recommended.
Michelle has been living on the Fleurieu for 15 years and she and her husband have decided to choose Hayborough as their home, as they greatly value the south coast lifestyle and community.
“Victor Harbor area has been a big part of our lives,” she said. “We love the area and the lifestyle.”
Michelle has been a practising celebrant for 17 years and has married over 2000 couples.
She also performs naming ceremonies for children and commitment ceremonies.
Michelle will travel anywhere on the south coast to perform a ceremony such as at a home, beach, garden, or function centre.
Small ceremonies similar to the registry office can be performed at her home with a view over the ocean.
The first step for clients is to meet with Michelle for a consultation.
” I get to know the couple, we go through how the day will run and I listen to what they would like,” she said.
“We will exchange lots of phone calls and emails before the wedding and have a final meeting towards the end, to run through exactly what’s happening on the day”
“I make sure the ceremony reflects who they are. It should be relaxed and very personal.”
Michelle said it is important for couples to feel comfortable, and she encourages communication throughout the planning process.
“I make sure they know they can always ring me at any time,” she said.
“I provide a very personal service and with that, become part of their lives.”
“I feel very honoured to be part of their wedding.”
“I get to meet really lovely people and I’m still in contact with some of the brides I’ve married.”
